The Niche London Perfume show
Last weekend, central London belonged to 50,000 runners. Roads closed. Barriers everywhere. The Mall — completely locked down.
We were there to collect fragrance imports for The Niche Show — perfumes brought in from France, Italy, Dubai, and Oman for exhibitors who needed their stock collected from the venue on time, no excuses.
Here’s what that looked like in practice: three flights of stairs, a crowd of marathon spectators around us, bottles of premium perfume that needed handling with care, and zero margin for error. We got it done. By hand, on foot, safely. That’s not a complaint — it’s just what the job looked like that day.
Nobody’s going to send you a brochure about that. But that’s what event logistics actually is sometimes. You adapt, you move, you deliver.
